LaSalle 1967-2007 Reunion
Can you believe it? The La Salle Academy Class of 1967 is celebrating its 40th reunion. Time does fly when you’re having fun.
The year we graduated the Dow reached a high of $685, gas was thirty-one cents a gallon, and the Packers beat the Chiefs 35-10 in Super Bowl 1. The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was released in June and along with other 1967 classics by the Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds,The Hollies, Pink Floyd, Cream and the Doors we all experienced the primordial tremors of the cultural revolution that would be the ’70’s.
The reunion weekend, which coincided with Homecoming weekend (October 19-21, 2007), was a huge sucess, and will be followed by several other gatherings over the next few months. So stay tuned, here on the website, for future updates and announcements.
